Rewards on Nori Family Hub

Rewards on Nori Family Hub help motivate family members by turning completed tasks into stars. Family members can earn stars by completing tasks, then use those stars to redeem family rewards.

Rewards, tasks, star balances, and redemption history are synced between Nori Family Hub and the Nori app. Changes made on one device will also appear on the other.

Earn Stars by Completing Tasks

Tasks can be assigned a star value when they are created or edited.

On the Tasks page, you can:

View tasks organized by family members.
See how many stars each task is worth.
Check each family member's current star balance.
Mark a task as completed.

To complete a task:

Open Tasks on Nori Family Hub.
Select the task.
Select Mark as completed.

Once the task is completed, its stars are added to the assigned family member's balance.

If a completed task is marked incomplete again, the stars awarded for that completion are removed.

View and Create Rewards

Open Rewards to see all rewards created for your family.

Each reward card shows:

The reward name and icon.
The family members who can redeem it.
The number of stars required.

To create a reward:

Open Rewards.
Select the + button in the lower-right corner.
Add a reward name and optionally choose an icon.
Set the number of stars required.
Select the family members who can redeem it.
Choose whether the reward should renew after being redeemed.
Save the reward.

When Renew after redeeming is turned on, the reward remains available after redemption. When it is turned off, the reward can only be redeemed once.

Filter Rewards

Use the filter button in the upper-right corner of the Rewards page to view rewards available to specific family members.

Clear the filter to return to the full rewards list.

Redeem a Reward

To redeem a reward:

Open Rewards.
Select a reward.
Select the family member redeeming it.
Confirm the redemption.

The required stars are deducted from the selected family member's balance.

A family member cannot redeem a reward if:

They are not eligible for the reward.
They do not have enough stars.

After the reward is redeemed, Nori Family Hub displays a confirmation and celebration.

Undo a Redemption

Select Unredeem on the redemption confirmation screen to cancel the redemption.

The deducted stars will be returned to the family member. If it was a one-time reward, the reward will become available again.

Edit or Delete a Reward

Open a reward to view its details.

From the reward details page, you can:

Edit its name or icon.
Change the number of stars required.
Change which family members can redeem it.
Turn Renew after redeeming on or off.
Delete the reward.

Editing or deleting a reward does not change its previous redemption records.

View Redeem History

Select Redeem history in the upper-right corner of the Rewards page.

Redeem history shows:

The redeemed reward.
The family member who redeemed it.
The number of stars used.
The redemption date.

Previous redemption records remain available even if the original reward is edited or deleted.
