This article explains how AI access is shared with family members on Nori Web.
Overview
Nori Plus is shared at the family level. That means one active family membership can unlock supported AI access for family members in that family.
The same Nori Plus membership works across Nori Web, the Nori app, and linked Nori Family Hub. It is not a separate Web subscription, app subscription, and device subscription.
If your family subscribes on Nori Web or in the Nori app, the linked Nori Family Hub gets paid AI access too. If your family subscribes from a Nori Family Hub setup or upgrade flow, family members get paid AI access on Nori Web and in the Nori app too.
What family members can use on Web
- AI Chat on Nori Web
- Text requests
- Voice requests when available and microphone permission is granted
- AI shortcuts when available
- AI-created events, tasks, recipes, meal plans, and shopping list items
- Talk to Nori on Nori Family Hub when the family has Nori Plus or an active eligible hardware trial
How shared AI results work
When Nori AI creates or updates a shared item, that item belongs to the family data. For example, an AI-created event appears in Calendar, and an AI-created shopping item appears in Shopping List.
Free AI uses
Free accounts include a limited number of AI uses. After the free limit is reached, the family may need to upgrade to keep using AI features.
If AI is not available for a family member
- Check that the family has an active Nori Plus membership.
- Make sure the family member is signed in to the same family.
- Check that the request is being made from a supported platform.
- Refresh Nori Web and try again.
