This article explains how sound works on Nori Family Hub and how to adjust system volume, AI volume, and Do Not Disturb.
Two Volume Controls
| Control | What It Affects |

| System volume | Media, system sounds, notifications, alarms, and timers. |
| AI volume | Nori AI voice and spoken responses. |
System volume and AI volume are stored separately. Lowering one does not automatically lower the other.
Adjust Volume
- Swipe down from the top of the screen to open Control Center.
- Use the system volume slider for general device sounds.
- Use the AI volume slider for Nori AI voice.
- Tap the mute icon to mute or restore a volume channel when available.
Do Not Disturb
Do Not Disturb silences notification sounds and AI voice output. Timers and alarms can still ring.
- Turn Do Not Disturb on or off from Control Center or Display & mode settings.
- If a schedule is available, you can set a daily start and end time.
- When Do Not Disturb is on, AI voice may show as muted until Do Not Disturb is turned off.
Hearing Safety
Avoid prolonged listening at high volume. Reduce the volume before extended use.
