This article explains the everyday tools available on Nori Family Hub, including Timer, Alarm, Clock, and Weather.


Timer


Timer is useful for cooking, chores, and quick family tasks.


  • Start a timer with the time selector.
  • Use Fast start presets such as 1, 5, 10, 15, 20, 30, 45, or 60 minutes when available.

  • When a timer reaches the final 10 seconds, it takes over the screen.
  • When a timer is done, it stays on screen until you stop it.

Alarm


What You Can Do


  • Create one-time or repeating alarms.
  • Add a label so the alarm purpose is clear.
  • Turn saved alarms on or off without deleting them.

  • Tap an alarm row to edit its time, label, or repeat setting.
  • Delete alarms you no longer need.

  • Ask Nori to create, check, change, or delete alarms by voice.

When an Alarm Rings


  • Tap Stop to dismiss the alarm.
  • If you do not respond, the alarm stops automatically after 5 minutes.
  • For a one-time alarm, the alarm turns off after it rings or times out.
  • For a repeating alarm, the current occurrence is marked as handled and the alarm stays on for its next scheduled time.
  • Physical mute or unmute controls still work while the alarm alert is open, but they do not close the alert.

Rules to Know

Maximum alarmsYou can save up to 50 alarms. After that, delete an existing alarm before adding more.
Multiple alarms at the same timeOnly the most recently set alarm rings for that time. Other alarms at the same time are skipped for that occurrence.
Another alarm reaches its time while one is ringingThe new alarm replaces the current full-screen alert. The previous alarm is marked as handled.
Alarm and timer reach the same timeIf they reach the exact same time, Alarm takes priority. If one alert is already showing and the other reaches its time later, the newer alert replaces the current one.
Device restarts or the app crashesMissed alarms do not ring again after restart. One-time alarms are marked as handled, and repeating alarms wait for the next repeat time.
System updateBackground update downloads do not affect alarms. If the device restarts for an update and an alarm is missed, it will not ring again after restart.


Weather and Clock


Weather and time use your device region and time zone settings. Update your region in Settings if the local information looks wrong.
