This article explains how software updates work on Nori Family Hub.
When Updates Happen
During setup, Nori Family Hub checks for required updates after it connects to Wi-Fi. You can also check for updates later in Settings.
- Open Settings.
- Open Network & devices.
- Choose Check for updates.
Update Types
| Update Type | What to Expect |
|---|---|
| System update | The device may restart after the update is installed. |
| App update | The Nori experience may relaunch after the update is installed. |
Keep the device plugged in during updates.
Common Status Messages
- Checking for updates
- A new update is available
- Downloading
- Download complete
- Installing
- Up to date
If an Update Fails
- Make sure the device is connected to Wi-Fi.
- Tap Retry if it appears.
- If a system update is installed, restart when prompted.
- If the update still cannot install, contact Nori Support.
