Overview
The Nori app is the main mobile place for family members to manage Nori. You can use it to create and manage your family account, invite family members, manage family information, and talk with Nori AI.
Nori AI in the app can help turn everyday requests into shared family plans.
What you can do with Nori AI in the app
Depending on your plan, you can ask Nori AI to help with:
- Calendar events
- Tasks, chores, and routines
- Meal Plan
- Recipes
- Shopping List
- Questions about your family's upcoming plans
For example, you might ask Nori to add a soccer practice, remind a family member about a routine, plan dinners for the week, or add recipe ingredients to the shopping list.
Free plan access
Free families can use the core Nori app tools. They also get 10 free AI uses, including AI chat, voice input, and basic AI tools.
The Nori app does not offer a separate free trial.
Nori Plus access
With Nori Plus, your family gets unlimited access to AI chat mode and voice input. Nori Plus also includes Agent mode for multi-step plans like trips, birthdays, and routines.
Because Nori Plus is shared by family, other family members can use the paid AI features after one family member upgrades.
Nori Plus also works with the linked Nori Family Hub. If your family subscribes in the Nori app, Talk to Nori and other paid AI access become available on the linked Nori Family Hub. If your family subscribes from a Nori Family Hub setup or upgrade flow, paid AI access also becomes available in the Nori app for family members.
How the app fits with Nori Family Hub
The Nori app is best for setup, settings, invitations, and more detailed edits. Nori Family Hub is best for quick family viewing, shared home use, and voice requests in a common space.
Both use the same family data. If you add a shopping item in the app, it can appear on the Nori Family Hub. If a task is completed on the Nori Family Hub, the app can reflect that change too.
Talk to Nori on the Nori Family Hub requires Nori Plus or an active eligible hardware trial.
