This article explains how Nori accounts work and how to join the right family.

Overview

Nori is built around a family. Your account lets you sign in, while your family space holds shared calendars, tasks, meals, recipes, shopping lists, and selected family photos.

Each family member can have their own account, profile, color, and personal settings. This helps everyone keep their own identity while sharing the same family information.

Create a Nori Account

1. Open the Nori app or go to heynori.com/app.
2. Choose a supported sign-in method, such as Apple, Google, or email when shown.
3. Complete the verification step.
4. Choose whether to create a new family or join an existing family.
5. Follow the setup prompts to finish.

Join an Existing Family

If someone in your family already uses Nori, ask them for an invite link or invite code.

• If you receive an invite link, open it and sign in with the account you want to use for that family.
• If you receive an invite code, choose the option to join a family during setup and enter the code.
• If you do not have the Nori app installed, install it first, then open the invite again.

If the Invite Does Not Work

• Ask the sender to confirm they invited the correct person.
• Ask them to send a new invite if the first one expired.
• Make sure you are signed in with the account you want to use.
• Contact Nori Support if you still cannot join.
