Overview
Nori uses the family as the main shared space. People in the same family can share schedules, tasks, meals, recipes, shopping lists, and selected photos.
Some settings affect the whole family. Other settings belong to a specific family member or profile.
Member Types

| Account & Profile | A family member who can sign in and use Nori on their own device. |
| Profile Only | A child, pet, or dependent profile managed by another family member. |
| Family Owner | The family creator. Some protected actions, such as resetting Family Hub Parental Controls, are owner-only. |
What Permissions Can Affect
- Who can access the family space.
- Which profile is assigned to events, tasks, chores, and routines.
- Who receives shared paid AI access from the family membership.
- Whether protected actions on Nori Family Hub require a Parental Controls PIN.
Best Practices
- Use separate accounts for adults or family members who need their own access.
- Use profile-only members for children, pets, or dependents who do not need to sign in.
- Review family membership before removing someone from the family.
